A solid model from Dapol with plenty of scope for DCC sound.

Graham Farish Class 08 Diesel
What layout would be complete without an 08 diesel clanking about somewhere on shunting duties?!
While it is feasible to add a CT SL76 sound decoder and micro-cube speaker to the Farish 08, without too much rework, it is more
common to simply convert to DCC, using something thin like a CT DCX75 or DCX76, which is pretty simple, despite the model not being
DCC ready.
With some more major rework, it is even possible to squeeze sound using SL76 and a reduced-enclosure sugar-cube speaker in the cab
to gain plenty of volume, but it is a lot of work, and quite a risky conversion. Take a look at the 'how to'
guide on this topic.
