Graham Farish Class 08 Diesel

What layout would be complete without an 08 diesel clanking about somewhere on shunting duties?!

While it is feasible to add a CT SL76 sound decoder and micro-cube speaker to the Farish 08, without too much rework, it is more common to simply convert to DCC, using something thin like a CT DCX75 or DCX76, which is pretty simple, despite the model not being DCC ready.

With some more major rework, it is even possible to squeeze sound using SL76 and a reduced-enclosure sugar-cube speaker in the cab to gain plenty of volume, but it is a lot of work, and quite a risky conversion. Take a look at the 'how to' guide on this topic.
