Tender top off, remove factory circuit board and 6pin DCC socket. File down screw mounts where circuit board was fixed. Remove
the coal load (metal) and its plastic cradle.
A Zimo MX648 sound decoder and YouChoos SugarCube7 will go in...
The metal coal load has had 2 to 3 mm removed from the base to give space for the speaker.
Without using the coal load's plastic cradle, everything fits in fairly easily.
All wired up, insulated and tender top back on, here is the finished article.
Basically the same, but bigger speaker, and custom weights...
