Here is an unusual (but effective) approach to putting sound into Dapol's N gauge Super Sprinter, using a Zimo MX660 sound
decoder on the floor. The aim is to keep the decoder as out-of-sight as possible.
With our MX660 wired up in preparation, we modify the seating area so that the decoder can sit on top of the chassis (with
insulation tape between of course).
The SugarCube7 speaker is positioned above the end of the decoder, and the seating area (now cut) goes back into place. We
reuse the connector for the Dapol lightbar.
All fits neatly back together.
