Kit: MS500; MicroCube5; 2x 470uF Flat Tantalums
Now here is a challenge - sound and stay-alive in the little EFE N gauge J94... this one done by GLR Models.

Started with an MS500N 6pin direct (would have been just as good with a wired version) - all of the pins removed, as we're
going to use the wires from the model direct to the decoder.

Unwanted wires are removed from the MS500, and we connect a pair of 470uF 16V Flat Tantalums in parellel ready for the
stay-alive (we can connect this many direct to the MS500 without extra components between).

The 6pin board from the model is removed and we begin the careful process of connecting the model's track pickup and motor
wires direct to the appropriate pads on the decoder.

With the decoder and Tantalums protected with Kapton tape, and the little MicroCube5 speaker attached, we test, and set about
gently positioning everything to fit in the cab.
For laughs, we even all a front light (hence the extra resistor you can spot in the pictures!).

The completed model - not for the faint-hearted - if you don't fancy trying this yourself, you can always ask GLR to do one for
you!
