Dapol's little B4 recreated for O gauge here, very heavy and Dapol's great slide-out boiler PCB for fitting DCC and sound to,
so a very simple upgrade.
The slide-out PCB has a pair of resonator boxes for 15x11mm StickyGasket speakers, so that's an easy approach, but we opt to
fit the larger dual IceCube28X18X08, which is almost as easy - just the 2 wires to solder onto one pair of the speakaer pads of
PCB.
On the socket-side, we plug in our MS440 21pin sound decoder, and BlackTack a 6800uF SuperCap for stay-alive - nice neat fit.
Probably a good idea to cover the SuperCap with Kapton tape for added insulation, since the case of the SuperCap is joined to
the Ground leg.
With that done, the PCB slides back into the boiler, and job done!
