Pop the body off (4 screws) and we find a decent amount of space available underneath the circuit board.
Prepare our 3x 470uF stay-alive capacitors (connect in parallel) and the small Dumbo speaker
The MX645R plugs in, the inserts under the circuit board, along with the Dumbo speaker, attached underneath with some
BlackTack.
The customer also wanted independent cab lights on his model, so these are wired into the green and brown wire outputs from the
decoder. We used simple yellow tower LEDs for the cab lights - they are quite dim, but that's probably reasonable in a Class
31!
The another requirement from the customer was to be able to independent switch the rear-end lights, so we added a couple of
extrac function wires to the 5th and 6th outputs of the decoder, and rewired that circuit direct instead of going via the
model's circuit board for the rear-end lighting.
