Before we start, a quick review of the kit we're going to put into it...
Take out the 8pin DCC socket and grind down that area to make it flat.
MX648 is recovered in Kapton tape to make it a tiny bit thinner.
SACC16 PCB is cut down to minimum, and connected to MX648's COMMON POSITIVE and GROUND.
Bulk-head is removed and nano firebox SMD LED is fitted, with resistor.
SACC16 is lightly stuck on top of decoder with some thin double-sided tape.
Firebox wires are routed along the provided groove forward to the decoder.
SuperCap17000 tucked under cab roof - the roof is curved enough that it is hidden from view from all but the lowest of angles.
All done...
