Bachmann OO Class 42 Warship - 21pin model with no speaker connections
Kit: MX644D or MS440; SugarCube24X15X06 speaker
There is precious little space under the roof of this Bachmann Class 42 Warship for a speaker, so we go with a
SugarCube24X15X06.
Note that this slightly older 21pin model does not have any solder pads on the PCB for a speaker, so you have to connect the
speaker wires either directly to the decoder, or to the feet of the interface in the model - requires good soldering skills,
but isn't too difficult.
Here is a similar example, but this time with a pair of single IceCube18X13X7 speakers connected in parallel.
Note how the speakers are attached on the underside of the model's PCB, so just above the bogies. One shot shows a pair of
SugarCube7 speakers, the other a pair of slightly larger IceCube18X13X07 speakers.
