Kit: MS500, SugarCube7, LifeLink and MGOBLOCK stay-alive
Always looking for different, and better ways to get sound and stay-alive into models, here's a different approach to
Bachmann's 8pin Pannier Tank.
Strip out the 8pin DCC socket and flatten the platform for maximum space.
Kapton for insulation, we position the SugarCube speaker and MGOBLOCK stay-aive onto the platform.
The MS500 (wired version) is hard-wired into the model, positioned above the MGOBLOCK GoldCaps, and a LifeLink is located at
the front, all wrapped and protected of course. The LifeLink is necessary to sit between the MS500's Common Positive and
Ground, and the 16V MGOBLOCK assembly.
It is tight, but done neatly, it is the perfect fit for the Pannier's boiler, and the stay-alive is immense!
