Heljan OO Class 26

Kit: MS440C; 2x 15x11mm StickyGasket speakers

Heljan's 2025 release in OO of their Class 26 is a lovely model - we have a special variant of our Class 24 project to control all the lighting features.

A new approach from Heljan for DCC sound fitting in this Class 26... a chamber below the PCB is prepared for a pair of 15x11mm Sticky Gasket speakers - spring clips from the speakers simply make contact under the PCB. Getting to the chambers is a little tricky though - remove the PCB's screws, then unplug some of the mini connectors in order to lift the PCB high enough to seat the speakers.

Speakers in, decoder plugged in, and the sample 1000uF capacitor for stay-aive that comes with the MS440 is fixed to the back of the cab wall with some BlackTack - all done!
