Heljan OO Class 47 Diesel (21pin version)

Heljan's revamped Class 47 in OO sports a 21pin DCC socket with various lighting features and provision for a good speaker.

Our MS440C is plugged in and a Zimo MGOLANG GoldCap stay-alive array is added.

Heljan provide a 2pin socket for speaker connection, but do not supply a plug to fit it, so we have soldered the speaker wires direct to our decoder.

We decide not to use the box provided for speakers, but instead hang our dual SugarCube 24x15x7mm from underneath the model's circuit board at the far end. There is a neat cavity there, above the drift shaft. Some BlackTack is used to secure it to the board.
