Hornby OO Class 59 Diesel with Zimo MS Sound

Kit: MS450R, RE BoomBox 40x20x10 2W

Hornby's old Class 59 diesel is quite dated compared to many models these days, but it does have the advantage of acres of space inside for some really good kit!

A Zimo MS450R plugs into the model's 8pin DCC socket, and an RE BoomBox 40x20x10 speaker sits in the tray very comfortably. We just use the sample 1000uF capacitor that comes with the MS450, but could easily have put a SuperCap in there instead.
