Kit: MS480R; either YC28R 28mm round speaker or SugarCube8
An MS480R will simply plug into this model, and a 28mm round speaker will go under the metal weight with no modification. In
this example though, the central beam across the metal weight is cut out and a SugarCube8 is fitted instead.

Kit: MS450; YC28R 28mm round speaker; MGOLANG
This time we opt for the bigger MS450 decoder, which has to be hard-wired (remove the 8pin DCC socket). We want to add a
MGOLANG GoldCap array for stay-alive, so a little more space is required. However, there is no modification of the plastic
inside the tender still.
Unwanted wires (lighting) are removed from the MS450, and the decoder re-covered in Kapton tape for protection. A 2W 28mm YC28R
round speaker fits neatly in the intended space under the metal weight.

Kit: MS450; YLR603010; MGOLANG
This time we go all out, and gut the tender (removing the socket, the metal weight, and some of the plastic under the coal
load. Our MS450 and MGOLANG are slotted up into the coal load space, and a huge YLR603010 3W speaker just fits perectly in the
remaining space - tight, but it just goes in and sounds simply superb!
