Hornby OO Brighton Belle with DCC Sound, Stay-Alive, Crew and Passengers

Kit: MX645R; Lurve7 speaker; 3x Tall Tantalums

A quick test-fit shows that the MX645R will fit in, and the Lurve7 speaker is a simple fit in the centre, so all will be hidden from view.

The wiring loom on the MX645R is quite long for the space though, so we cut the wires shorter and resolder to the 8pin plug - not strictly necessary, but does make the installation tidier.

We connect 3x Tall Tantalums in parallel to the 645's stay-alive wires and position these on the top too, all protected with Kapton and/or BlackTack.

Completed now, with driver figures and passengers added too. The model looks lovely with those lit table lamps!
