Kit: Zimo MX645R with Zimo dual Dumbo LS40X22X09-2W

This is Hornby's re-released Class 50 model to celebrate 50 years of the class. It is a superb model, and there is even scope for a decent dual Dumbo speaker.

Top off reveals connectors for destination lights, and a working fan, with room at the other end for a big speaker.

The LS40X22X09-2W is a super speaker, and the space is perfect for it here.

With decoder in place, and secured down with some electrical tape, we also add a number of thin 470uF/16V capacitors in parallel for stay-alive. These just fit along the side next to the fan pulley box.
