Hornby OO Lion with DCC Sound

Well done Hornby on an excellent design for their Lion... especially for converting to DCC Sound, as there is a Next18 socket provided, and already a speaker on board.

After removing the socket retaining screw, the cover comes off, pop off the DCC blanking plate, and plug in the MS590.

A little protection with Kapton tape around the board and decoder just for safety.
