Description

The FS890 function sound decoder from Zimo is similar to MS (MS591) range but without motor output. 6 full power AUX function outputs for lighting, smoke generators, auto-couplings etc., energy storage facilities are via STACO or LifeLink connection.

Designed for vehicles that don't have a motor on board, such as dummy coaches in DMUs/EMUs, the FS890 is otherwise the equivalent of the MS591.
