Dapol OO GWR 517 with MS sound

Kit: MS591

Just a brief look at Dapol's GWR 517 tank, in which we would use 14XX sound. The slide-out board in the boiler takes the little MS591 no problem (not quite enough length for the MS581). No compfortable space for any stay-alive though. The model comes pre-fitted with a sealed SugarCube speaker, so only the sound decoder itself is required.

Sound decoder not actually pictured here, but really very easy!

We tried the MS581, but it is too long for the slide-out board...

So settled for the smaller MS591...
