Kit: MS591; SugarCube5
Lovely little model this D600, easy DCC installation, but space for speaker quite limited - we could only get a SugarCube5 in
without chassis modifications, and no space for any stay-alive in this one.

Pop out the blanking plate and fit the MS591 Next18 sound decoder.

It looks like there should be plenty of space for a speaker at the other end, and something like a Minnow4 or 5, or MicroCube
will go in no problem, but we would like something a bit more meaty, hence going for the SugarCube.

Solder points for the speaker connection are on the underside of the PCB. A little tricky to get to, so some careful soldering
required - losen the PCB's mounting screws to lift it a little - you can't go far with the PCB as the wires will restrict it,
but a little more access to the pads is very useful.

Speaker wires are routed along the side, in the provided channel and taped in position, with the SugarCube 5 carefully slotted
under the lighting wires - tight, but it can be made to fit!

With the body back on, a quick test - the model is engineered well, so the lack of stay-alive is not a major problem.
