Mini GoldCaps, each 2.7V at 0.3F or 1F. Join 6 in series to create a compact 16.2V stay-alive which normally gives between 10 and 60 seconds backup on an MS sound decoder with lights, sound and motor running! Compatible with any MS Zimo decoder that accepts a 16V capacitor (MS440/MS450 etc), or any decoder that has Ground and Common Positive connection via a LifeLink. Each capacitor 12mm body length x 4mm diameter (0.3F). 1F Cap is shorter but slightly larger diameter.

Zimo GoldCaps Energy Storage
Zimo's pre-connected GoldCap arrays (MGO) comprise 6 mini GoldCaps, each 0.3F 2.7V, connected in series to give 16V massive energy storage - typically 3-5 seconds run-on time even on sound decoders, sometimes longer. Both versions of the kit are the same specification but with different shapes. Designed for MN/MS decoders only though may be useful with other types.
